Truly Halal is a collective responsibility that begins with awareness and is fulfilled through action.

From the live summit. Speakers from Türkiye, Kuwait, the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, Libya and Germany called for Halal that is more than a label.
H.E. Ihsan Ovut (SMIIC): Halal means “permitted”. It covers food, ethical business, fairness, and animal welfare. Consumers have the right to know on the label whether an animal was stunned.
Mr. Adnan Al-Rifai: “Halal is not a slogan on a package. It is honesty, integrity, and respect for the consumer. True Halal begins with awareness and ends with action.”
Key points: some stunning methods can kill the animal before slaughter; valid slaughter requires a living animal and a proper cut; digital systems should rebuild trust; Halal without integrity is only a claim.
Recommendations: caution with stunning; clear labelling of slaughter methods and ingredients; stronger inspection; Halal verification for food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
International Halal Center France
International Halal Center France has successfully expanded its Halal certification scope. The Centre is now authorised to certify:
Beverages, food products, cosmetics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and Use Goods.
Use Goods covers a wide range of products, including packaging materials, clothing, fashion, and many other consumer items.
With this expansion, International Halal Center becomes the first company in France to hold this range of certification scopes. IHC is proud to have earned the trust of BPJPH and to continue strengthening its presence in the French market.
