Couplet Sugars is a Belgian family-owned company with more than 175 years of experience in the production of high-quality specialty sugars. Based in Wez-Velvain, the company employs around 77 people and exports its products to 53 countries worldwide. Its product range includes pearl sugar, fondant powder, decorative sugars, brown sugar, as well as coated and flavoured sugar specialties. The products are used in applications such as bakery and confectionery products, waffles, biscuits, chocolate and sweets. Couplet Sugars holds Halal certification and meets the relevant Halal standards for its certified products. In cooperation with the International Halal Center, the relevant products and processes are assessed and certified in accordance with applicable Halal requirements.
